Syntax

Remarks

The same object as its TaskEntry, typed for the suspended state. The leading SLIST_ENTRY belongs to whoever suspended the task: a synchronization primitive may chain suspended tasks through it (see Collections::BasicStack and Collections::ConcurrentStack) from the moment ISuspendCallback::OnSuspended hands it over until it passes it back to ResumeTask. Outside that window the field belongs to the core.

Names

NameDescription
SuspendedTask Handle of a suspended task: the only kind of handle ResumeTask takes.

Handed out by ISuspendCallback::OnSuspended (and ISuspendCallback::OnTimeout); valid for exactly one ResumeTask. It converts to a TaskHandle, but a TaskHandle - for example the calling task's own - does not convert to it, so a running task cannot be resumed by mistake.
