AsyncIpSocket alias

An IPv4/IPv6 socket for overlapped I/O from tasks.

Syntax

template <IpVersionType _IpVersion>
using AsyncIpSocket = IpSocketBase<_IpVersion, AsyncSocket>;

Template parameters

_IpVersionIpVersionType
The IP version: Windows::IpVersion::V4 or Windows::IpVersion::V6.

Remarks

AsyncSocket plus the IP options of Windows::IpSocketBase. Create it with AsyncSocket::Create(addressFamily, type, protocol); see AsyncSocket for the preconditions and the rules of the starting and waiting forms.
