ThinkMeta Software is a software company founded in 2009 and based in Renningen, Germany.

Its main field of work is research into software technologies, in particular parallel programming.

Background

Founder and managing director George Kotorlis has worked as a software architect and lead developer since 1993, focusing on software architecture and system design, the modernisation of legacy systems, and performance optimisation in C++ and .NET. He co-founded Genericom Software GmbH (1999–2009) and has delivered projects across industries such as automotive infotainment, consumer electronics, industrial metrology, and publishing and pharma; his long-standing work on parallel programming led to the ThinkMeta ConcurrentTasks research project.

He holds a degree in computer science from the University of Stuttgart.
